Transitions University is a six month program designed to educate, inform and empower young men from the ages of 12-18 and 19-25. We accomplish this through mentorship, intensive training and presenting educational opportunities. We expose the students to leadership fundamentals, teach and encourage life values that will sustain them in the future. Transition does not attempt to replace parenting, however we ask our parents to work with us so that the program has maximum impact.
Master Class: Our master class of transitions is for young men 19-25 who are in the visioneering stage of life. What we mean by visioneering is that they may not fully understand what they want to be and how to get there. We match them to coach mentors to help them in their specific area of interest. This allows them to maximize their time and effort while discovering and pursuing purpose.
*To attend transitions it must be a mutual decision between parent and student. This way we ensure the greatest impact of student engagement.
*Transitions is a vertical church Phoenix mission but is open to the community and city. You do not have be a member of our church to attend.
*In order for your student to receive a certificate of completion, your student will have to complete all of the required classes. There will be no exceptions made.
*Our goal is to provide most of what we do at no cost to the parents, however there will be occasion where fees are required.
*We ask that parents keep in mind that none of the staff is paid and this is all heart work. The mentors and leaders if this program are sharing their knowledge because they want to help leave a legacy for the next generation.
*Our desired outcome: We endeavor to not only teach young boys and men how to pursue purpose but hope that through this channel they too would take the time to mentor another and bring value to their lives. It is not our concern what professions they enter into as much as we hope to inspire them to fully be what they are called to be. At the end of the day we want these boys and young men to think further than themselves and invest in their future.
